Basecamp Level 1 is designed to acquaint our novice outbounders with the joys of outdoor camping. Participants begin by mastering four fundamental knots commonly utilized in outdoor settings. Following this, they embark on a camping expedition, collaborating in groups to erect their own tents. In the afternoon, attention turns to the art of fire building and management, employing only flint and steel. The day concludes with a serene reflection period around the campfire, accompanied by the delightful indulgence of toasted marshmallows.
